Ms.
I've been wearing Wigwam sweatsocks (#625 & #622) since the 60's. I'm just dissappointed that they are not as thick and strong as they use to be. When I buy them I usually purchase 8 pair at a time. They now wear out too fast. The quality is not as good as the 60's. Also they were thicker

Nice but....
I love Wigwam products for the most part....these just seem a little bulky and loose but would probably be ok in work boots or hikers... if you prefer a tighter more fitted sock, I'd choose another from Wigwam or Icebreaker...

My favorite socks
I've used these socks for casual wear, especially in colder weather, for decades, and I love them.

The first and still the best
If they ever stop making this sock I will be very disappointed. Wool is cooler than you think and is a natural fiber that simply behaves better than synthetics.

Sure beats cotton or polyester
I've always worn wool sox, and these fit well and can be used at the gym or just working around the gardens. Good fit, good price. I would like to have these in colors as well as white, so I could wear them with more dressy shoes.

Don't last
I have bought these since I was a kid (1950's). But the quality of wear has gone down.

Warm Feet!
I ordered myself a pair of wool Wigwam socks. My feet are almost always cold in the winter, & I've found that wool socks are best. These are not itchy, keep my feet warm. They are a bit thick, so may not fit in all your shoes. I'm washing them in the machine on a wool cycle and drip drying. I've only had them a month or so, so don't have info on how hard-wearing they are, hence the 4 stars. If they last extremely well, I'll post anouther review

Warm in winter, cool in summer…
I've been wearing these socks for over 50 years (not the same pair, of course.) I remember HATING them because they itched for the first two weeks when I was young - but that went away completely. I don't know if your initial wearing will be itchy or not, or whether they changed the way they were made or whatever, but I know that as a kid of 8 or so, it took me a couple of weeks to get comfy and my parents insisted I wear them! I'm so glad they did! The only time I don't wear these as an adult is when I'm getting dressed up and white socks won't do. They are warm and comfy in the winter, cool and comfy in the summer, and ALWAYS nice and cushy…

Best all-around socks I've worn
These are the best socks I've ever worn for day-to-day work chores and working out. I use them for everything when not at work, which requires dress socks. Wool is the best material for socks. These are soft, comfortable, easy-on/easy-off. I think they will be great in the winter because they have bulk. They just feel great on your feet. I bought 9 pairs.

Perfect
Husband has been looking for these "replacements" for YEARS! We didn't think it possible that a product from years ago would be made as well in today's throw away atmosphere. THANK YOU!

Warm in winter, cool in summer...
I use these for everything but dress-up. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I've worn these (or something like these) for over 50 years (not the same pair!) When I first started wearing white wool socks, I have to admit - they itched like the dickens, and as a kid of 10 or 12, it was driving me nuts! But I remember that I did get used to them after a couple of weeks - besides, I didn't have a choice in the matter. Once I got used to the wool, I loved them! I don't know if they were wigwam or not back then, only that they were "white woolies" and these seem to be exactly the same. Try them and give yourself a chance to get over the itch (if they still do itch - remember, they were probably a bit different back then.) You'll love them, too!

buy buy buy year after year
Wigwam over 40 years same sock, now 5% more nylon a good thing. Really my husband has worn this wigwam bulky sock daily for 40 years that I've known him. We buy a dozen a year every spring. He walks around the house with no shoes on and so he wears out the heel, I weave a little extra yarn into the bottom of the heel in the fall. The tops never wear out. You can cut the tops off and serge them into squares and make those into a throw the tops are that good.

Love these socks!
I bought a half-dozen pairs of these socks several years ago and dyed them black. Dying material black requires a lot of heat that weakens the fibers, and the socks suffered from it, and they didn't stay black either. But they wound up a neutral gray-ish color that was acceptable in winter. Now I just content myself with leaving them white so that they will last longer. My feet perspire (my mother taught me not to say "sweat") a lot year-round, and these woolen socks don't soak through and bunch up like cotton socks, so I am very happy with them.

Wigwam 625 A Great Sock!
This is my favorite every day sock. I love it for comfort, warmth and style. My only complaint is the fact that these socks do catch lint in the dryer. My solution had been to turn the sock inside-out before laundering.
