I ordered this for my son as part of his Hallween costume and he is now wearing it as pajamas. He is slim and the suit fits perfectly. He hasn't worn it under clothes, but it the fit would be perfect for that purpose. If you are fitting a huskier build, I would suggest ordering up a size.

We actually ordered these for grandkids & they love them because they get just enough added warmth and they aren't bogged down with the bulkyness & thickness of other cold weather garments. When camping or cool they also use them as PJ's and they love them!
Seems short in the torso/crotch at first, but loosens/sags enough as it breaks in... I'm 5'6" woman and it's perfect. Nice reinforcements, but the buttock button came off first night... I bought five of 'em!
I ordered this as a holiday gift for my little one. It seemed to be exactly what I was looking for - a lightweight union suit with flap that would be perfect for everyday use as winter pajamas. They were received with excitement and worn immediately. Unfortunately, the fabric is so thin and cheap that it tore in the back on the very first day. The flap and surrounding area is not reinforced enough. I can't imagine this holding up past the first few uses. Now I'm left with a union suit that have a rip after just one use. BOO! Great concept - poor quality!
We've been ordering these for years for our son - they're the only union suits on the market for kids and adolescents at a reasonable price. We live in Florida and our son's disability necessitates one-piece pajamas. These are pretty light-weight, so they work for us down here as pjs. Top buttons almost always come loose - you may want to put a few extra stitches in them. Otherwise a good product.
i bought them so the whole family could have matchin jammies for xmas. but the crotch came down so low on everyone that although my hubby works outside in cold weather, he was unable to wear them... under insulated bibs. they chafed. kinda uncomfy just as jams, too. the crotch is so low that they are just not comfy. however, the color is beautiful n vibrant, the material soft, and they wash very well. we didn't like the butt flap either but i know that's just how they are made.
This Union Suit is SUPER traditional and old-time. My 13-year old sons LIVE in theirs. We live in Minnesota and they wear them for every-day wear (and pajamas) in the winter. They have worn them for Nordic and Downhill skiing but their favorite part is just everyday coziness and how cool they look under a flannel or by themselves. The only thing to note is we had to size up. Even for petite frames they run quite small. LOVE them. Will for sure buy another pair when they are outgrown.

Purchased these for all of my grandsons from ages 10 to 17 and granddaughter 8 for Christmas Eve. They all put them on immediately upon opening and wore them the entire evening. They made a perfect outfit for their Christmas Eve picture! There parents tell me they wear them constantly. Love these Union Suits! Great price for priceless fun!
Love the union suit look and feel. I ordered youth sizes one size larger than needed to allow for shrinkage. I washed according to instructions and found it had shrunk so much in the body I had to order even a larger size.
I wore these jammies around the house all day and loved them. That is until I went outside and noticed a significant breeze... the rear button had fallen right off! These long-johns failed where coverage is most important, and I was most disappointed.
